Swing gates are useful elements in any retail outlet
access control system. They are often used as exits
for customers leaving the store without making any
purchases, in which case they are usually positioned
alongside information desks, or as locked service
exits/entrances.
Operation
When pushed,
the gate swings open to allow access. The arms can
rotate in one direction only and when an attempt
is made to pass through the opening in the opposite
direction, the gate provides an effective obstacle.
